Early Finisher's Math Project Directions

You get to build a zoo!  Draw one pen on your graph paper that has an area of 25, another pen that has an area of 512, and another pen that has an area of 513.  You can also add two pens of your own dimensions.
When you're done sketching your plan, then you can color it and add what animals you want to be in each area.  Have fun!

Multiples Songs and Vocab Reminder

Hello, and Happy Friday!

Please remember to review the Multiples of 8 song!  Here's the new one for next week, so take a look at this one as well:

Next, please remember to study for your vocabulary test on Monday!  If you do not remember specific words, feel free to make flash cards so that you can study them.

Finally, the character trait of the month is "empathy." Talk with your families about what empathy means.  How can you display empathy to others throughout the day?

Have a marvellous weekend, and I'll see you on Monday!

Your Teacher,

Miss Hodges

Happy November!

Dear Fourth Graders,

Here is the experiment from reading for you to try at home.  If you don't have a party blower, then don't worry:  This is just for fun and isn't a homework assignment.  I can't wait to hear about your binary tongue-spitting experiences!

Enjoy!
