Today, we began our science unit on POLYMERS! Check out a few of the pictures, and try some of these experiments with your worms at home!
Question to Consider: How will you find out exactly what polymers in order to create an informative ThingLink and poster?

Plastic Bottles
Hello, Fourth Graders!
Thanks so much for a wonderful week back after Carnival. I am especially proud of all the work we've completed in reading while making inferences and in writing by adding supporting details to your narratives. Hats off to you!
As we discussed in Morning Meeting, Miss Katie needs our help! She is collecting smaller water or juice bottles (not the big 2 litter bottles, though). If you have any at home, please remember to bring them in!
In the meantime, please focus your Khan Academy work on comparing fractions, and remember to finish your get-well cards for Miss Hatch.
Have a sensational weekend, and I'll see you Monday!
Your Teacher,
Miss Hodges

Math Homework
Greetings, Fourth Graders!
As promised, here are the images that we discussed in class in order to assist you in your math homework completion.
All you have to do for tomorrow is divide and shade the circles so that they show the appropriate fractions.
Remember that you want to divide them using EQUAL parts.
Tomorrow, we will identify equivalent fractions using these pages in your math notebook.
Thanks for being responsible learners!
Cheers,
Miss H.
